​ ​ ADY – 999CS Kilns are build as Customer Special are available only as partly pre-paid order. It take about a month to produce. If you are interesting in it please contact the manufacturer.  One of the 999CS build in the pass, example: Thanks to the thick insulation 999CS kiln with Ramp PID Temperature Controller, provides uniform temperature distribution which promotes quality of the quenching and tempering of the long, up to 120cm objects; steel swords, sabres and machinery parts.  Technically wise, kiln uses an industrial PID controller system with a K-type thermocouple temperature probe for stable performance and simple operation. When empty kiln's chamber, and 850°C temperature, temperature fluctuations is -5 and +1°C. This   kiln is energy efficient and for its size uses only 4600W, which is 20A of the single phase 230V power and delivers a good temperature distribution. It is especially designed for metal heat treatment below or about 1000°C. It can reach 850°C in 80 min and maximum temperature 1000°C in around 120 minutes. The ADY 999CS kiln requires as a power source 32A, 230V, Single Pole, RCD protected Socket. Safety wise, kiln's heating element is protected by build in RCBO circuit (32A), a double pole Rotary Switch on the front panel to switch OFF/ON heating element,  and hidden Leaf Switch under the door, which using Solid State Relay disconnects the Mains Power from the heating element when the kiln door is open. The PID Controller Circuit is not protected by  build in RCBO circuit, it has separate Mains Switch on the front panel and is protected with 3A fuse. This arrangement allow to switch OFF the heating element and observe decreasing temperature on the PID Controller.  Red LED, mounted on the front panel  will go OFF when the Rotary Switch or hidden Leaf Switch is in the OFF position, confirming the power applied to the heating element is OFF. The kiln door hinge allows to open the door in horizontal position and leave it open on top of the kiln in stable position, to ensure the door’s very hot surface never faces towards the user and furnace opening is not obstructed in any way from all sides. Kiln is equipped with internal fan to cool the electronics inside and shouldn't be switched OFF until furnace temperature will drop below 400°C. Attention: The kiln is new and the signs of heat are due to a manufacturing process and production test only. Due to the nature of the fireboard, large size and  weight, the kiln must be shipped on a pallet hence the £100 shipping cost. Collection is free.
